A heavy rainstorm Friday evening cooled things down and gave a good drink to the extremely thirsty landscape. Baker City was especially hit with the deluge. But there were riders on the roads in every direction – geared up for rain. I talked with some riders in Union who had just come from Joseph. They exclaimed the beauty of the area and commented that it should be named “Heaven” instead of “Hells Canyon.” The woman, from Portland, called the area her new favorite place!
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and safe travels!
