Celebrate everything Celtic! The Eastern Oregon Celtic Festival and Highland Games takes place in La Grande at the Union County Fairgrounds this Saturday, August 22, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Enjoy entertainment, dance, highland games, food and more at the 8th Annual Celtic Festival & Highland Games. Tiller’s Folly, Molly’s Revenge and La Grande’s own MaryAnn Zimmermann will perform on the big stage. Other activities include a Highland Games competition and children’s games. Vendors will sell jewelry, crafts, food and other things Celtic.
Tiller’s Folly plays a variety of music for those who feels like dancing, this Friday night, 7:30 to 10:30, in the 4H Building at the fairgrounds. Beer and wine will be offered by Benchwarmers. Entry is $10 and all ages are welcome.
