BOISE, Idaho, August 19, 2015—The boat ramp at Idaho Power’s Woodhead Park will be closed Tuesday, Aug. 25, until noon on Wednesday while crews apply seal coat to the road and parking area.

Crews will begin road work at the park as early as Thursday, Aug. 20. That work will continue on Friday and into the following week. Although the campground will remain open, some areas will be closed temporarily to allow crews to complete the seal coating and repaint the roads.

Work will begin at the south end of the campground and move toward the boat ramp.

Idaho Power owns and maintains five parks with overnight camping in Hells Canyon. All of the company’s campgrounds are first-come, first-served, and stays are limited to 14 days. For more information about Idaho Power’s parks, including fees and locations, visit idahopower.com/recreation.
